I am revising the Maine state mandala to add a puffin and a Native American symbol complex. Maine is the only state in the US with a breeding population of Atlantic Puffins. There are four Native American Nations in Maine which are part of the Wabanake Confederacy which extends into Canada, and southward into New Hampshire and Vermont. In the center is the Wabanake Confederacy symbol. Starting from the top and rotating clockwise are the nations of: Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, Micmac,and Maliseet.
